Bongiwe was born on the 2nd of May 1995. His surname Sibanda means ‘lion’ in Ndebele. Her mother Sikhangeziwe died at the age of 30 in 2000 of HIV related encephalopathy. She met her father in South Africa and according to word from relatives he is deceased. She has one half-brother Brian. She has lived with her 65 years-old grandmother Violet Mudisi since birth. Netball is her favorite game and she loves to sing. Pink is her favorite color and her favorite food is rice. Bongiwe wants to become a singer when she grows up. She ranks 3^rd in his class of 45. Her birthday was her best moment because her friends gave her a present. When she failed her mathematics test was her worst moment. Her favorite singer is Beyonce. Bongiwe is in good health and is HIV negative.
