Buhlebenkosi was born on the 23^rd of February 1995.  Her name, Buhlebenkosi, means “God’s beauty” in Ndebele. Her surname Sibanda means Lion. She lives with her 79 years-old grandmother, Martha Sibanda since her mother Gladys died in 2007 at age 55 of diabetes. Martha rents out two rooms in the five-room family house.  She also lives with her aunt, Sithandiwe,  and her cousin, Martha. Her father’s whereabouts and identity are unknown. Buhlebenkosi has one older brother named Wonderful, who died of an asthma attack and an elder sister, Bongane  - both half siblings (different father). Netball is her favorite game. She also likes to dance.  Pink, blue and white are her favorite colors. Her favorite food is rice and chicken. Buhlebenkosi wants to become an accountant when she grows up. She is an average student. But she likes mathematics. Her best grades in school are in Mathematics. Her best moment was her aunt’s birthday in 2007 because she had a ‘wonderful and joyful’ day. Her worst moment was when her mother died. Her best friends, Providence Ngwenya and Happiness Ngwenya are her role models.  Buhlebenkosi is in good health.
