Brian was born on the 1^st of April 1999. His second name, Thando, means ‘love’ in Ndebele and his surname means “lion."  His mother Sikhangeziwe died at the age of 30 in 2000 of HIV related encephalopathy. His father is unknown. They were not yet married. His mother died of Encephalopathy and Immuno suppression on the 17^th of December 2000.  He has an older half-sister Bongiwe.  He is the last born in a family of two.  He has lived with his 65 years-old grandmother Violet Mudisi since birth. He loves soccer. His favorite color is blue. He loves rice and eggs. Brian wants to be a doctor when he grows up. He ranked 20^th in a class of 45. His best moment was 2009’s Christmas because his favorite uncle was there and he played soccer. His gogo says he is always happy so he can’t think of a worse moment. His role model is Chris Brown. Brian is HIV+ and on anti-retrovirals. His health is stable.
