Dumelang was born on the 20th of October 1997. Her surnameMoyo means ìheartî in Shona. Her mother, Sikholiwe died at the age of 22in 2004 and no one knows her father. Dumelang has been living with her 57year-old gogo, (grandmother) Happiness Dube, since her motherís death.Happiness had 5 children and two have died. She lost her daughter andhusband in the same week. Dumelang is the only child of or her mother.They live with two other grandchildren Methembe and Roselyn in a 16x16foot one-bedroom house.
