Buhlebenkosi was born on the 1^st of December 1995. Buhlebenkosi is an Ndebele name that means “God’s Beauty”. It is usually shortened to Buhle meaning “Beauty.”  She has been living with her mother, Vinolia Moyo, since birth. Her father Nisbert Ndebele died in 2004 at the age of 46. She has two older sisters, Dudusile and Nqobhile who are married, and one younger sister Shylet and a younger brother Bekimuzi. An older brother died in a car accident in August if 2007. Buhle, her mother, brother and severely mentally and physically handicapped cousin all live in a rented room without running water or electricity on the very outskirts of the city. Buhle’s favorite sport is netball and her favorite color is pink. Her favorite food is sadza, a form of polenta that is Zimbabwe’s staple food. Buhle wants to become a teacher when she grows up.  She ranks 13^th in her class of 49. Her 11^th birthday was her best moment. Her brother’s death was her worst moment. A local actress Vimbai inspires her because she is a good.  Her health is very good.
