Meet Sithabisiwe, a dedicated member of the Zimkids community who has been making a positive impact on the lives of children and youth in Zimbabwe for many years. Sithabisiwe joined Zimkids at the age of 12 in 2005, and since then, she has been actively involved in various community projects and initiatives.

Sithabisiwe’s passion for helping others led her to pursue a Counseling Diploma in 2014, which equipped her with the skills and knowledge needed to conduct home visits for the beneficiaries of Zimkids. Through these visits, she provides emotional support, guidance, and counseling to children and youth who are facing various challenges in their lives.

As a mentor, Sithabisiwe works with young girls, helping them to develop important life skills and build their confidence. She recognizes the importance of empowering and encouraging girls to pursue their dreams and aspirations. Through her mentorship, she inspires and motivates these girls to become strong, confident, and successful women.

Moreover, Sithabisiwe also tutors primary-level kids, providing them with the academic support they need to succeed in their studies. She recognizes the importance of education and believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow.

In addition to her counselling and mentoring work, Sithabisiwe runs Zimkids’ chicken project for both girls and boys in the Zimkids community. The project has been a huge success, providing our kids the opportunity to learn important skills such as entrepreneurship, teamwork, and responsibility.
